Basic Pistol and Handgun Safety Course

This course will cover the topics necessary to provide a basic understanding and level of proficiency so that you may safely handle your firearm in any situation. 

Topics covered in this course are:

-Safe Handling and Manipulation

-Malfunctions

-Nomenclature

-Stance

-Fundamentals of Marksmanship

-Weapon Maintenance and Safe Storage

In this course you can expect to shoot between 200 – 300 rounds in various shooting drills and at various ranges. 

Gear requirements:

-Eye and Ear protection (preferably electronic hearing protection)

-Shirt with a collar (no low cut or v-neck shirts)

-Pants

-Close toed shoes

-Handgun (with at least 1 magazine if shooting a semi-automatic)

-Range bag/Pistol bag

-200-300 rounds of ammunition (In the caliber of your handgun)

-Weapons cleaning kit
